Donna M. Dunkelberg Renwick, age 96, of Lenox, passed away Friday at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center. She was born August 19, 1914 to John and Aurelia (Kesner) Stier at the family home in New Haven, Michigan. Donna spent her childhood in New Haven. In 1932, she married Paul Dunkelberg. The couple settled in Mount Clemens. Paul died in 1966. Donna then married Douglas Renwick in 1969, and the couple moved to New Haven. Douglas passed away in 1983. Surviving is her daughter, Kathleen (Wayne) Davidson of Mount Clemens; ten grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; sister, Verna Mayer of Lenox; son-in-law, Harold Essmaker and daughter-in-law, Jo Dunkelberg. Donna was predeceased by her daughter, Jean Essmaker; son, Owen Dunkelberg and siblings, Mervyn, Dorothy, Lewis, Edith and Clifford. Visitation Monday, August 1, 2011, will be 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Warren Hood officiating. Private burial will follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
