Burgess Fae Denmon, 87, of Buna, Texas passed away Sunday morning, December 6, 2015, surrounded by her family at her daughters home in Manchaca, Texas. Born in Jasper County, she was the daughter of Paul A. Stanley and Ola Richardson Stanley. After marrying James Marvin Denmon on July 4, 1947 they moved to Beaumont, Texas where Fae was a member of the North End Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for many years. She worked at the Security National Bank and Carl Johnsen's Florist Inc. After retiring and moving back to Buna she and Marvin became members of the Genesis Baptist Church where she volunteered and taught Vacation Bible School.
Fae made everyone feel better and happier after meeting her. She was the living expression of God's kindness in her giving face, eyes and smile.
Fae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Jasper Paul Stanley, LaMerle "Pete" Stanley, and Billy Burke "BB" Stanley. Fae is survived by her daughter Sandra Gayle Doyle and husband Lonnie of Manchaca, Texas; son Gary Marvin Denmon and wife Margaret of Beaumont, Texas; grandson Gary Marvin Denmon Jr and wife Sandy of Humble, Texas; granddaughters Kristy Doyle Moore and husband Bryan of Kyle, Texas, Jennifer "Jenn" Elise Doyle of Buda, Texas; great grandchildren Elliot Denmon, Spencer Denmon, Adyson Moore, and Brody Moore; Sister Dorothy Stanley Smith and husband J.C.; brothers Pat Stanley and wife Mary; Don Stanley and wife RoAnne, all of Buna, Texas; and sister-in-laws Syble Stanley of Lumberton, Texas, and RoAnne Stanley of Anderson, Texas
