JEANERETTE - Memorial graveside services for Camille Luke Foco Jr., 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Degeyter officiating.

A native of St. Mary Parish and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Foco died at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Maison Teche Nursing Center following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Foco was a World War II veteran, serving in the 86th Infantry Black Hawk Division, and in 1962 the president of the United States authorized the executive order of the Bronze Star Medal to him.

He is survived by his son, Rodney J. Foco, and his wife, Shelia, of Jeanerette; his daughter, Wendy Foco Puckett, and her husband, Jerry, of Maurice; four grandchildren, Chad, Kevin and Jessica Verret, and Paula Puckett; three brothers, Fritz, Felix and Ronald Foco, all of Jeanerette; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Foco was preceded in death by his parents, Camille Luke Foco Sr. and Ida Bourg Foco; his wife, Lillie Mae Bonin Foco; his sister, Helena Foco Duval; and three brothers, Irvin, Allen and Heinnie "Jimmy" Foco.

The family prefers memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
