Brother George Earl Alexander was born to the late Leonard Alexander and Bernice Ross on Dec. 8th, 1955 in Dallas, TX. He attended Thomas Jefferson High in Dallas and was employed at Shelter Ministries with the Austin Street Center until a recent illness.

George was best known for his willingness to help people no matter what their circumstances, as well as his strength, leadership, and his loveable ways toward his family and friends. But best of all he was known for his jokes and laughter; he put it straight to the point. He will be truly missed.

He accepted Christ as his personal savior after uniting with the Greater Ebenezer MBC in 2010. He actively and faithfully served on the Deacon Board, in the Open Hands, SOARS, and Men of Change Ministries. George was also responsible for the upkeep of the church facility and cared deeply for the church facility and cared deeply for the Senior Saints.

He leaves us to cherish his good sense of humor; and leaves behind his fiancee, a brother, a niece, a nephew, two stepdaughters, two sisters-in-law, as well as extended family and a host of cousin friends.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks and gratitude to each and everyone for their support, thoughts, love, and best of all, their prayers. And to New Century Hospice for their caring support and understanding of our loved one in his time of need.
