Ralph Middleton Carter (1900-1976)
RALPH M. CARTER — Ralph Middleton Carter, 75, of Anniston, Rt. 5, died Saturday at his residence after a short illness.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Jay Upton officiating. Burial will be in DeArmanville Methodist Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hermione W. Carter; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Bonner of Birmingham; three sons, A. E. Carter of Anniston, J. D. Carter of Anniston, J. D. Carter of Oxford and Dr. L. W. Carter of Greensboro, N. C.; three sisters, Mrs. Performer of Lake Wales, Fla., Mrs. Edna Cook of Ocala, Fla., and Mrs. June McLeroy of Miami, Fla.; a brother, A. B. Carter of Ocala, Fla.; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Carter was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of DeArmanville Methodist Church. He was associated with Pepsi Cola and Coca Cola bottling companies and was a cattlemen.
The family requests no flowers.
The body will remain at the funeral home through services.
