Charles Dean Cullins, age 77, of Rison went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Cullins was born July 29, 1938 in Rison, a son of the late Lavelle Wilson Cullins and Mary Ellen Simmons Freeman.

He was owner-operator of Cullins Carpet and Flooring Service for many years. Mr. Cullins was a faithful member of Trinity Faith Assembly of God where he served as a former church trustee and Sunday school teacher.

He loved working with his hands, doing such things as woodworking, building, quilting, gardening and canning. Mr. Cullins also enjoyed rebuilding and spending time on his computers. Two of the most important things in his life were his family and his church.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gerry Lavelle Cullins; wife, Audie Cullins and brother, Odis Harold Cullins.

Survivors include his wife, Cletis Golden Cullins of Rison; sons, Terry Edward Cullins (Tammy) of Rison, Roger Brewer (Barbara) of Mayflower, Gary Brewer of Monticello; daughters, Cindy Diane Cullins of Pine Bluff, Charlotte Ann Cullins of White Hall, Joyce Reed (Mike) of Rowell, Phyllis Young of Hot Springs, Beverley Beaver (Nathan) of Maumelle, Mona Reap of Warren; brothers, Curtis Cullins of Rison, David Cullins of Pine Bluff; sister, Ellen Harrington of Missouri; twelve grandsons; nine granddaughters; many great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2015 at Trinity Faith Assembly of God in Rison with Reverend Leonard Hodges officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery at Rison. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
