Leo Albert Eisenmenger. was born October 22, 1930 to Albert and Christine (Studer) Eisenmenger in Sherburn, Minnesota. He attended school District #36 and school District #50 in Welcome. On July 13, 1949 he was united in marriage to Eunice Mae Miller at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Sherburn, Minnesota. Leo and Eunice started farming in 1953 near Welcome. He worked at the Ford Garage in Blue Earth, Minnesota from 1956-1957. They moved to Wallingford, Iowa in 1958 and farmed there for two years. In February of 1960 they moved to their current residence in rural Sherburn and farmed there until his retirement. Leo and Eunice also operated Leo's Snow Sports, first on the farm and eventually relocated the snowmobile business to Fairmont in 1994. In 2000, they purchased the building on Tenth Street in Fairmont and moved the Artic Cat Dealership there. Leo retired from the business in 2001. Leo's passions included his beloved companion "Maggie Mae", snowmobiling, rebuilding cars, talking and his family. He would help anyone—you were a stranger to him only once. He was always willing to do anything for his family, could repair anything, and was a faithful example to his family in the Christian tradition. Leo served on the Manyaska Township Town Board for several years. He became a 2nd Degree member of the Sherburn Knight's of Columbus in 1960 and became a 4th Degree Knight of the Wells Assembly in April of 1994. He was a Faithful Navigator and remained active in the KC's until his death.
