Lieut.-Col. John P. Keeler, U.S.A., retired, who died Saturday in Washington, was born at Clyde and his relatives formerly lived in Maryville. He will be buried Tuesday morning in Arlington cemetery with full military honors. Col. Keeler, who was 55 years of age, was retired in 1922.
His mother, Mrs. Mary J. Keeler, and two sisters, Miss Alicia Keeler and Miss Josephine Keeler, of Kansas City, will attend the services. His mother and sisters formerly lived in Maryville and Miss Alicia taught here for a number of years.
