Christopher P. MARKIEWICZ, age 43, passed away on August 30, 2015. He was born on April 8, 1972 in Detroit, son of Michael and Florence Markiewicz.


Christopher was a proud veteran serving with the Marines during Desert Storm. He is survived by parents, . . . ; his siblings . . . . He is also survived by his very special nieces . . . , his nephews . . . , his great-aunt, . . . and many cousins, aunts and uncles. Christopher was preceded in death by his special niece, Madison in 2002.


Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2 from 6:00PM-9:00PM and Thursday, September 3 from 3:00PM-9:00PM at PHILLIPS FUNERAL HOME, 122 W. Lake St., South Lyon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 4 at 12:00PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 S. Lafayette, South Lyon. He will be laid to rest in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly where military honors will be rendered.
