Toluca- Edwin Lewis Krueger, 73 of 801 Bayless Ct.Toluca, died at 7:06 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2006 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk. Rev. Donald R. Nuttall Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Minonk Twp. Cemetery, Minonk with full military honors. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 6, 2006 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk.
Edwin was born November 16, 1932 at Randolph, IL a son of John L. and Mildred Brigham Krueger. He married Marilyn J. Hall on April 26, 2952 at Bloomington. She died March 1, 2001. He later married Virginia O. Johnson on December 27, 2003 in Washington. She survives in Toluca.
Other survivors include their children, Russell (and Susan) Krueger, Glasford, John L. (and Jane) Krueger, Roanoke, Joy (and Larry) Nuttall, Toluca, Barbara (and John) Pampel, Thaxton, Mississippi, Carol (and Richard) Maul, Denver, Colorado, Jim (and Kristyl) Johnson, Peoria; two sisters, Joan Williamson, Bloomington, Elsie Deitrick, Bloomington; one brother, Peter Krueger, Normal; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Edwin attended Harvest Family Fellowship Church in El Paso. He retired from Kiefer Electric in Peoria and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
