Tippy Bell Holmes was the best dog ever. She was my best friend. I'm not sure when her birthday is so I figured that it was sometime in Nov. She wasn't that old when I found her, or she found me at school. Tip, as we called her for short, was a cookie napper. I use to sit on a rock wall at recess after lunch. The day that we met, I had a cookie. Tip came up and grabbed that cookie and ran off. When I got home I told Daddy about her. Every day after that Tip would come around to see if I had a treat for her. Then one day she didn't show up. I was so worried about her. I went home and told Daddy. He went out looking for her, but could not find her. On my birthday, my cousin's grandma said that she had a surprise for me. She opened the door and in ran my little cookie napper from school. I was so happy to see her. That whole time she did not show up at school, she was safe and sound at grandma's house waiting to join the family.
We named her Tippy because she had a white tip on her neck.
