David was a wonderful young man who sadly suffered a horrible fate. Chicago Tribune editor Bill O'Connell explores one of the most heinous but least publicized crimes in Illinois history: the 1968 abduction, assault, and murder of fourteen-year-old David, by two fourteen-year-old bullies; In his book Fourteen: The Murder of David Stukel.
