Amedeo "Don" Gizzi, 77, resident of Roselle for 20yrs formerly of Allen Park, Mi. Born in Collarmele Italy, he passed away peacefully Aug. 22 at his home. Don came to the U.S.A. in 1955 and for 47yrs he was in manufacturing and installation of architectural panels. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 73, Operating Engineers Local 150 and the Decking and Siding Contractors association. Don was a member of Mazzine Verdi Club and Molisani Nel Mundo Club. Beloved husband of Rose Marie nee Donahue for 57yrs; loving father of Stephen A. Gizzi and Marisa J. Cianfarani; cherished grandfather of Shane (Lisa) and Alexander (Lauren) Gizzi, Rosemarie and Marco Cianfarani; great grandfather of Ole Gunnar Gizzi; dear brother of the late Remo (Antoinette) and the late Umberto Gizzi and the late Sandrina Valenziano. He also leaves many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Vis. Monday and Tuesday each from 3-9pm at Grove Memorial Chapel 1199 Arlington Hts. Rd. Elk Grove Village.
