Paul Randall Parrish, age 67, of Sophia died Friday, August 21, 2015 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mr. Parrish was born February 27, 1948 the son of Locke and Beulah Parrish. Paul was a native of Randolph County and owned Parrish and Son Construction. He was a loving husband and father, whom took great pride in his family. Paul was generous, loving, ready to help anyone, and a hard working man who didn't meet a stranger and was always concerned about others more than himself. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy and Willard Parrish.
He is survived by his wife: Nancy Parrish of the home; sons: John Parrish and his wife Melanie of Randleman, Michael Parrish and his fiancée Leigh Lucas of Archdale; grandchildren, Kailynn and Koleby Parrish; sisters: Linda Styles of Burnsville, NC, Frankie Pelletier and her husband Ira of Archdale, and Iris Hayes of Cherry Grove, SC; brothers: Wayne Parrish and his wife Viola of Randleman, Roger Parrish and his wife Jeanie of Glenola, Lawson Parrish and his wife Margaret of Randleman, Donald Parrish and his wife Hilda of Sophia, and Elvin Parrish of Randleman; ; sister in laws, Tillie Parrish of Thomasville, and Betty Parrish of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10:00 am at Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
