Greggory Milton Smith was born in Independence, Louisiana. He lived his pre-school years in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. He traveled the world with his parents Robert, Debra (Watts), and sister Ashley Smith. He went to school in many different locations and graduated from high school in Alaska. After graduation, he served in the Army and deployed to Bosnia with the 10th Mountain Division. He then served in the Louisiana Army Reserve and deployed to Afghanistan. While serving he also attended Northshore Technical Community College and then Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. Gregg always had roots in Louisiana and although he lived and traveled all over the world, he chose to live in Ponchatoula where his life journey started and where he felt most at home. He was full of life and adored by everyone he encountered.
