Garland Reginald Sturdivant, 85 of El Dorado, passed away, Friday, August 14, 2015, at Oak Ridge Nursing Home. He was born October 16, 1929, to George Dewey and Jessie Frances Humphries Sturdivant in Urbana, AR.

He was a member of Urbana Church of Christ and was owner of Sturdivant Grocery in Urbana.

Preceding him in death, are his parents, his sister, Vera Amason; and brother, Doyne Sturdivant.

Survivors include his two sisters, Earline Cameron of Shreveport, LA, Virginia Prothro of El Dorado; a host of nieces and nephews, and a special friend and caregiver, Emily Prothro.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Young's Chapel with Charles Franklin Cameron and Dr. John Kendall Cameron officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Urbana Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Oak Ridge Nursing Home for their love and care of Reginald.
