Daisy Elizabeth Jacobs was born on Elm St. in Elwood, Atlantic County, NJ. She was the youngest daughter to Annie Mary and George Tyler Jacobs. She married a neighbor boy Raymond Meade and they had 6 children. Their daughter Diana was cremated however Diana's husband, Joseph Kendall as well as Diana's ashes are in the Elwood cemetery as well. Their children were George and Raymond Meade, Helen Meade (Joseph)Hummel, Charlotte Meade (James) Chatten, Edna Meade (Harold) Grant and Diana Meade (Joseph) Kendall. The following obituary appeared in "The NEWS" of Egg Harbor City on 09FEB1967:

Mrs. Daisey E Meade, 64, of 274 White Horse Pike, Hammonton, died Monday at the Kessler Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born in Elwood, she moved to Hammonton 25 years ago.

Surviving are four daughter, Mrs Helen Hemmel of Ancora,Mrs Edna Grant, Mrs Charlotte Chatten and Mrs Diana Kendal, all of Hammonton; two sons, George and Raymond, Jr., both of Hammonton; two brothers, George Jacobs of Whiting and Livingston Jacobs of Elwood; three sisters, Mrs Beatrice Hawks and Mrs Isabelle Miller, both of Philadelphia and Mrs Ida Cochran of Elwood; and 14 grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday at 11 AM in Landolphi-Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. C. James Hinch of the Hammonton Presbyterian Church of Hammonton officiating. Burial will be in Elwood Rural Cemetery.
