Lawrence Venice Jacobs was known to us as "Uncle Lonnie." He was a handsome and intelligent man that made everyone that was around him laugh. He passed away before he reached the age of 60 with cancer. He was very handsome and had lots of lady "friends" however he never married. He was a prison guard and a counselor for troubled youth. He had a head full of gorgeous hair in his early years however he lost all of it at the end of his life. Uncle Lonnie was loved by everyone. His mother was Annie Mary Jacobs and his father was George Tyler Jacobs. He was the youngest of the Jacobs children. He is buried with his parents in the Elwood cemetery.
