Cuba Adams, 73, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.
Graveside services will be at 10:00AM, Saturday, August 15, 2015 in the Newport Cemetery in Newport, Texas with Bill Skaggs, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.
Mrs. Adams was born on June 23, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William Winston and Vera LaRue (Powers) Skaggs. She worked as a Director of Human Resources at an Assisted Living facility, prior to her retirement and was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Adams and wife Mary of Arlington, Texas and Brad Adams and wife Becky of Arlington, Virginia; brother, Bill Skaggs and wife LaRue of Tyler, Texas; granddaughter, Melanie Adams of Arlington, Texas.
The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
