Fred L Gorsh, route 3, Cedar Rapids resident 27 years, died in University Hospitals, Iowa City, Wednesday following a brief illness. Born March 13, 1899 in Williamsburg, he was married to Blanche H Pollet on July 29, 1934 in Anamosa.
Surviving in addition to the wife are 5 sons, Edward Gorsch and Lornie Gorsch, both of Millersburg, Eugene Gorsh, Frederick Gorsch and Kenneth Gorsh all of Cedar Rapids, 3 daughters Darlene Heck, Sheila Gorsh, and Sandra Gorsh all of Cedar Rapids, 2 sister, Mrs Eddie Allen, San Francisco, and Mrs, Judy Hadenfelt, Williamsburg, 4 brothers, Henry Gorsh, Sacramento, Frank Gorsh, Williamsburg, Everett Gorsh, Marengo, and George Gorsh Cedar Rapids, and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne Grimm.
