Norman Gregory "Greg" Dye passed away suddenly of an apparent heart attack on July 25, 2015. He was 63. Greg was a graduate of Treadwell High School in Memphis, TN, class of 1970, where he played golf and basketball for the Treadwell Eagles. He was a talented and avid golfer. Greg graduated at Memphis State University in 1975, now the University of Memphis, and was a graduate of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR. He loved to spend time at the family vacation home in Bear Creek, AL. Greg worked for the Buckeye plant in Memphis until the '90's and then relocated to the Cincinnati, Ohio area where he retired after a long tenure with Buckeye affiliate Procter & Gamble. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman L. and Erline Brown Dye of Memphis, TN. His wife, Marcia Melton Dye, died nearly 3 months before Greg. He leaves his sons Timothy D. Dye and Cameron Dye; and a brother, Ronnie Dye of Memphis. Services held at Advantage Cremation Care, subsidiary of Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 129 Riverside Drive, Loveland, Ohio 45140.
