She married Murff William Box Sr. on December 20, 1942 in Houston, Texas.
She graduated from Lamar High School in Houston and attended Rice University for a year.
A memorial service will be held Sunday August 9, 2015 at White Bluff Chapel. Interment will be held August 10, 2015 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, TX.
