Rachel Pearl Wilkerson Kelley left this earth for her heavenly reward much as she lived her life, quietly and without fanfare. Rachel, 92, passed away on Saturday, August 01, 2015, at Denton Regional Hospital.

Rachel was born August 19, 1923, to George and Mabel Wilkerson in Justin, Texas. The family moved to the North Side of Fort Worth and lived there many, many years. She attended and graduated from North Side High School. Rachel worked for 40 years for Lennox. She was happily married to Guy Kelley who passed away in his early 50’s. Rachel loved to travel and had many adventures in the US and abroad, particularly loving the Holy Lands. She was very involved in North Fort Worth Baptist Church for the first 85 years of her life and after moving to assisted living enjoyed every single Bible Study or church service no matter what the denomination. She loved animals and always had a little dog at home. After moving to assisted living, it was easier to have a cat, so she switched allegiances, leaving poor little wild and crazy Mollie to grieve for her.

Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Kelley, her parents, and her only sibling, brother Alan Neal Wilkerson of Lufkin.
Survivors: Alan Neal’s children, niece Diane Bert and nephew Terry Wilkerson, one first cousin, Margaret Brown, of Denton.
