Mother of the legendary David Ruffin who was lead singer for the Motown musical group The Temptations from 1964 to 1968 and Motown's legendary Jimmy Ruffin who was best known for his hit record "What Becomes of the Broken Heartedl". She died 10 months after David's birth.
