Mrs Charles Killian died Monday night near midnight, after a lingering illness of 3 months. Her sufferings were great and at times she rallied, and was able to be in her chair a short time each day for over a week. When despite every care and caution complications set in and left no hope longer. She leaves a husband and four children, Mrs Rollo Nesmith, Mrs Ed Grimm, and George of North English and Henry on the old home place west of Ambrose. Funeral was held Wednesday from the home and services at the Hope Chapel. Buried in the UB cemetery. Mrs Killian was a hard working frugal woman, physically strong and through her aid and management built up a nice home but just when she could have enjoyed the fruits of toil and labor, she was called away...we hope to enjoy more than earth affords.
