Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Leonard and Jeannette D. (Mandarini) Raposa of Fairhaven, she lived in Fairhaven most of her life.
She was a member of the International Church of the Nazarene.
Jessica was employed by Pizzeria Uno in Fairhaven.
She was a graduate of Fairhaven High School, class of 2002, Bristol Community College, class of 2005 and was looking forward to entering Wentworth Institute of Technology this fall. Jessica enjoyed visual arts.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, Leonard David Raposa of Fairhaven; her maternal grandmother, Mildred Frances Smith of Clarks Hill, SC; her paternal grandparents, Edward and Carolyn Raposa of South Dartmouth; her special friends, Kristen Walther, Tanya DeGrazia, and M. Ethan Gaudette; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the International Church of the Nazarene, 284 Pleasant St. New Bedford, Wednesday July 27, 2005 at 10 AM.
Visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Tuesday July 26, 2005 from 4-8 PM.
Burial in Riverside Cemetery will be private
