BERNADINE FERN CUPP SERVICES HELD SUNDAY
Bernadine Fern Cupp, daughter of Vernor Joseph and Gertrude Mary (Hayes) Sportsman, was born July 20, 1924 in Marceline and passed away May 9, 1973 at St. Francis Hospital in Marceline.
Mrs. Cupp is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Ayers and Connie Tincher of Marceline, and Karen Rutliff of Liberty, Missouri.
Also surviving are her mother and step-father, Gertrude and Delbert Eads of Marceline; one sister, Ruth Penderson of Marceline; one half-sister, Linda Lyford of St. Joseph; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and half-brother, Larry Eads.
Mrs. Cupp was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marceline and the Eagles Auxiliary.
Funeral services were Saturday, May 12, at Miller-Tillotson Chapel. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Marceline.
