AGE: 80 • Marlton
STEVENS Jr., Claude Edsel. On July 14, 2015 at home and without suffering, just as he wished.
Born in 1934 passed to his heavenly home and joined his wife Jean, who passed in 1989. He was born to loving mother, Carrie Belle and C. Stevens. He was drafted into the US Army and was stationed in Alaska. While there, he practiced his artistic passion by painting inspiring works for his comrades. Claude spent over 35 years working for Conrail as an auditor.
In his leisure time, he loved to paint. He created beautiful pictures his family and friends will always cherish. What will be most remembered is the life sized animals he created from wood that decorated his yard. He was also a member of the Medford Lodge, F & MA #178. He found pleasure in ballroom dancing and met his treasured friend and partner Barbara. Both enjoyed traveling and continued to dance together.
Claude is survived by loving girlfriend Barbara Arbiz and her children. His loving children Karen Allen (Jeffrey) and Gregory Stevens (Kimberlee). Caring grandchildren Derek, Clarissa, Camille, Raquel and Noah. Dear brother of Robert R. (Ruth) and Gwen D. Bambard (Ben).
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday July 18th from 2:30 - 3:30 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. A memorial service will be held 3:30 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment Parkview Cemetery "Oddfellows", Medford, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital, 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19410.
