Harold J. 'Ruby' Rubincam, 86, of Coatesville

Harold J. "Ruby" Rubincam, 86, died on Thursday, April 21, 2016 while under the care of Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester. He was the beloved husband of Lois Sterling Rubincam with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Garrett and Caroline Watkins Rubincam. Harold was an area resident all his life and 1947 graduate of Scott High School. He served in Korea with the US Army from 1951 to 1952. He was employed by Bell Atlantic, now Verizon, as a switchman. Ruby was a member of the Brandywine Goddard Lodge, F & AM of Coatesville. He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two sons; Robert D. Rubincam and wife Vicki of Coatesville and Barry L. Rubincam of Thorndale, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister Sue Stauffer. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville.
