Obituary for Raymond E. Cofield
Raymond E. Cofield, age 71 a lifelong resident of Gulfport passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Ethel Cofield and his brother, Joe Cofield.
Mr. Cofield is survived by his two children, Rachel Arciga and her husband, Gerard and Ruth Cofield; his three grandchildren, Justin Cofield, Caitlin Martinek and Austin Bacy; and many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
He was a graduate of Gulfport High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army, the owner of R & R Trucking and of Long Beach Pedals & Spokes. He loved to build customized bikes and riding motorcycles.
Mr. Cofield was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Beech. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
