Obituary for Gerald Lynn Adams
Gerald Lynn Adams, age 72, passed away on July 8, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nolan Edward Adams.
Survivors include his mother, Alma Adams, a son, Jarvis Adams, and 2 siblings, Kim Adams and Larry Adams.
Mr. Adams served 4 years in the Air Force where he was trained as a mechanic. He owned and operated his own battery service business and alternator and starter rebuilding service. He was of the Presbyterian faith and enjoyed listening to higher positive thinking preachers, especially Robert Shular who wrote the book “Power of Positive Thinking.” Mr. Adams enjoyed tending to cats and strays, woodworking, various pet projects, and listening to “Zippo” on a morning radio show. He had a special interest in Space and he wanted to be an astronomer. He was also excited by technology and future tech like robots.
A graveside service will be Thursday, July 16, 2015, at 9:00 AM in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
