Dorothy Mae (Ward) Breedlove, 100, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015, in Waco. Texas. Visitation was from 3 to 5 p.m., at Connally Compton on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Funeral Service is Monday, July 13, at 2 p.m., in the mausoleum at Waco Memorial Park with Dr. Craig Klempnauer and Dr. Joe Bailey officiating.

Dorothy was born November 2, 1914, to James T and Pearl (Jackson) Ward in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco and member of Grace Temple Baptist Church. Dorothy retired as Machine Operator from Graham Embroidery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Walter Breedlove; parents, James and Pearl Ward; brother, Milton Ward; and grandson, Jeffrey Breedlove.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Cate and husband, Russell, of Waco; sons, John Walter Breedlove, Jr., of Arlington and Jim Dale Breedlove of Richardson; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, R. C. Ward of Spring, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
