William H. Reinken, 67, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home in Roanoke township, five miles southwest of Benson, of internal complications following an illness of eight weeks. He was confined to his bed for a week.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, two miles of Benson, with the pastor, the Reverend J. J. Haberaecker, officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's cemetery.

Mr. Reinken was born January 26, 1873, at Riepe, Ostfriesland, Germany, the son of Reinke and Sarah Reinken. He married Dorothy Folkers of Benson on February 22, 1899.

Surviving are his widow and two daughters, the Misses Sarah and Dorothy at home and two sons, Edward, at home, and Fredrick of Flanagan. There are two grandchildren. One daughter, Marie, died March 3, 1923.

Also surviving are one brother, Henry of Benson and three sisters, Mrs. Herschel Smilie of Benson, Mrs. Henry Fields of West Salem and Mrs. Albert Witman of Cross Plains, Indiana.

Mr. Reinken farmed in Benson vincinity the last 35 years and has been Prominent in the work of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he served as superintendent of the Sunday school for over 25 years.
