Charles W. Dougherty, Sr., of Gloucester Twp., NJ, passed away on Oct. 2, 2012, at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Florence (nee Toughill) for 62 years. Devoted father of Kathleen Butler of Somerdale, NJ, Charles W. Dougherty, Jr. (Kathleen) of Wenonah, NJ, Theresa Kempf (Bruce) of Laurel Springs, NJ, Mary Ann Dougherty of Somerdale, NJ, Robert C. Dougherty (Michele) of Blackwood, NJ, and Stephen P. Dougherty of Laurel Springs, NJ. Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Mr. Dougherty was a retiree of the Bakery, Confectionary and Tobacco Workers Local #006 of Phila., PA. He enjoyed playing poker, pinochle, darts, going to the casinos, and fishing. He was also an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.
Viewing will be Saturday, October 6th, 9:30 - 11:15 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Agnes Church (Chapel), 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood, NJ. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 AM in the Church. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Mem. Park, Washington Twp., NJ.
