Carroll Abernathy, age 77, of St Petersburg, passed away May 9, 2014. He was born in Hannibal, MO. He graduated from Stetson University and Stetson College of Law. He was an Army veteran. He is warmly remembered as a dedicated criminal defense attorney. CJ was preceded in death by parents, Early and Sula Abernathy and a brother, Judson and sister, Jean. He is survived by wife of 56 years, Carol Abernathy ; children, Douglas (Lazara), June (Kevin) and Jason.
