Sam Franklin Springer
Converse, LA-Services for San Franklin Springer, 95 will be held at 4 PM, February 6, 2009 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, Mansfield, La. Officiating will be Rev. William Wash, Jr. pastor of Beulah Baptist Church and assisted by Rev. Jimmy Price, pastor of First Baptist Church of Noble, La. and Chaplain Furlow wit the Superior Hospice Program. Internment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery.
Visitation will be form 5-9 PM. Thursday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.
Mr. Springer entered into rest at his residence on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 surrounded by family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Nora Viola Springer, 2 grandsons; Matthew Ryan Searcy and Gary Ryan Smith.

He is survived by 2 sons and 5 daughters, two sisters and one brother, 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be the granddaughters.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Superior Hospice, especially Nell Norwood, Melesa McLaurn, Chasity Ebarb, Diane James, Chaplain Furlow and Dr. William Hunt. Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
