ANDERSON, S.C. -- Daniel Bruce Baith, 65, of 313 Inland Drive, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at home. Born February 6, 1939 in Mansfield, Ohio, he was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was retired from the State Department in Washington, D.C. and also served in many U.S. Embassies around the world. He was a proud volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Surviving are his wife, Lois C. Baith of the home; two daughters, Deci Call of Fredericksburg, Va. and Rinda James of Charlotte, N.C.; four grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Taryn, and Patrick. He was the son of the late Mayward Baith, Jr. and Loretta Mann Baith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Baith and a sister, Jean Young. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel conducted by Pastor Chuck Hill. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday at the northeast chapel.
