Freddie Delano Anders, son of the late George Dewey Anders and Lila Bishop Anders. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Sharon Anders in 1989, and a sister Sally Gilliam.

A US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was part owner/operator of Anders Brothers Logging Company in Flat Rick. He was a avid fisherman and hunter, he was the past president of the B. C. Coon Hunters Association. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Vera Vaughn Anders, one sister Barbara Beddingfield (Louie), three brothers, Dick, (Joyce) Anders, Norman, (Cora Belle) Anders and Billy, (Karla) Anders.

Burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hendersonville, Henderson County, North Carolina.
