Lionel Bourbeau and his wife Rose (Daignault) Bourbeau lived at 16 K St., Turners Falls when they were first married. In later years their son John bought them a house at 56 K Street.
Lionel's father Uzece passed away in 1956 in Greenfield, at the age of 87.
Lionel drove an oil truck, and made deliveries for the Tydol (Tide Water Associated/Veedol) Oil & Gas Co.
TURNERS FALLS MAN WINS DRIVING AWARD
TURNERS FALLS - The safe driving habits of the Tide Water Associated employees were given recognition during the past month by Eugene F. McCabe, vice-president in charge of the company's eastern division sales.
Emblems were presented 125 drivers who completed from one to 15 years on the road without becoming involved in an accident. Included in this group was Lionel Bourbeau of 56 K Street, who received a silver emblem for his three years accident-free driving.
