"Mrs. K." Elaine W. Koppelman "Mrs. K.", 89, of Glassboro passed away on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014. Born in Linwood on Dec. 11, 1924, she was a graduate of Pleasantville High School. For more than 20 years she worked as an elementary school teacher's aide for the Glassboro School District, known to students as "Mrs. K." Before that, she served as a volunteer for the Glassboro ambulance service and as a Democratic committeewoman for the borough. She is survived by a son, Glenn R., a sister, Janet Dingler, two grandchildren, two nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Sr., a son, William H. Jr., of Morrisville, Pa., and her parents, James and Myra Way of Linwood. A graveside service will be held Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Manahath Cemetery in Glassboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are by MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, Glassboro.
