Susan I. Rininger, 60, a Plymouth resident since 1982, passed away at her home on Wednesday morning, July 1, 2015.

Susan was born the daughter of Donald W. and Carol I. (Sample) Rininger on August 9, 1954 in Kenosha, Missouri.

She worked for the Marshall-Starke Development Center in the workshop and previously at Logan Industries in South Bend.

Susan was the “mother hen” of the family and a caregiver to many family members and friends. She enjoyed family outings to Ponderosa. Susan loved to do crafts and make artwork. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and camping trips.

She is survived by her siblings: Donald “Eugene” Rininger, Lyle (Glenda) Rininger, Linda (Raymond Hummel) Seeders and Todd Rininger, all of Plymouth, as well as, many nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mark Wayne Rininger.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the Plymouth Baptist Church 11345 9A Road, Plymouth, IN. A Celebration of Susan’s Life will held at 4 p.m. following the visitation.

Private burial will be held in the New Oakhill Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.in
