James Edward Hundley Jr., 71, of Granbury passed away Monday, June 29, 2015. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors, Pastor Jeff Schuckers officiating. Burial: will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery in Cooke County. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at DeBerry Funeral Directors. He was born Aug. 29, 1943, in Gainesville to James Edward Hundley Sr. and Mildred Mae Speake Hundley. He was married to Ramie Allison. He was the owner of an insurance agency in Fort Worth. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Acton United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: His wife, Ramie Hundley of Granbury; daughters, Jayme Haney of Weatherford and Jenita Hundley of Granbury; sons, James Hundley of Millsap and Grady Bishop of Sanford; sister, Cynthia Rogers of Houston; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
