Lucille completed a Fulbright scholarship at the University of Rennes, France studying literature and economics. In 1951 she moved to Paris where she received a diploma at Sciences Po. She traveled Europe in the summer of 1952 and hitchhiked to Salzburg, Austria where she and a friend had jobs with the US Army Intelligence. That fall, she returned to the US.
Lucille began her career at Julie Research Laboratories in New York City where she eventually became employed by the New York City Human Resource Department as a purchasing agent. After working briefly for Goldman Sachs, Lucille became employed by the New York Transit Authority refurbishing the NYC subway until her retirement in 1996.
Lucille spent her retirement between her home in New York City where she loved theatre, museums, movies, reading, traveling and entertaining friends and Lake Tahoe where she loved spending time with friends, cross country skiing and relaxing. Lucille was truly an amazing person.
