John Edward "Eddie" Knox, 53, of Littlefield, died June 23, 2015 at the Harmonee House in Amherst.

John was born February 11, 1962 in Borger, Hutchinson County, Texas to Ernest Garvin Knox and Mary Ann Leggett Knox.

He was a member of the Littlefield High School Class of 1980.

He loved to travel and enjoyed visiting England, France, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, New York, Las Vegas, and New Orleans, to mention just a few of his destinations. Among other cities, he lived in Taos, New Mexico, San Antonio, and Dallas, Texas.

John loved music and was a very talented musician. He could play any instrument that had a reed in it. He could learn a song and then play it on the piano. He also loved art, the theater, and old movies.

Preceding him in death is his mother, Mary Knox.

He is survived by his father, Garvin Knox of Amherst; 2 sisters, Donna Neinast and husband David of Littlefield, and Shea Ritter and husband Paul of San Antonio; 2 nephews, John David Neinast of Lubbock, and Cody Neiast wife Abby of Snyder; 1 great nephew, Griffin Neinast of Snyder; 2 uncles Marvin Knox and wife Margaret of Marlow, Oklahoma, and Joe Leggett of Coolege, Arizona; 1 aunt Charlene Leggett of Bakersfield, California, and numerous cousins.

In lieu of flowers, family suggest donations be made to the Hunger Relief Ministry of First Baptist Church of Littlefield; 400 East 6th Street; Littlefield, Texas 79339, or your favorite charity.
