Thomas "Tommy" Foster Williams, 67, of Norwood, passed away June 16, 2015 at his residence. Tommy was born February 10, 1948 in Floyd County, Georgia to Sarah Griffin Williams and the late Thomas Eugene Williams.
Thomas worked as a loan officer in the banking industry and enjoyed playing golf and going fishing. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by twin brother Randy Williams. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Carolyn Williams of Norwood; son Clint Williams and wife Kelli of Norwood; sisters Sally Kirk and husband James of Marietta,GA, Becky Houston of Kennesaw, GA, and Jane Haywood and husband Kenny of Acworth, GA; sister-in-law Linda Williams of Monroe, NC; granddaughters who were his loves, Ashley and Addison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service was held at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Stanly County, (960 North First St., Albemarle, NC 28001). Carolina Cremation of Salisbury assisted the Williams family.
