Charles F. Heiss, seventy-three, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 119 South Queen street, of complications, following an illness of two months. He was a son of the late George and Anna Heiss, of this city, and is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Florence Hatz and Ella, wife of H. Frank Skeen, both of this city. He was in the tobacco business, having conducted a cigar store on South Queen street for many years. (Lancaster New Era - May 25, 1934)
