Elinor Lynn Squires Parrett Victor was bom on November 5, 1931 in Fort Worth, TX. She was the only child of Dr. Lynn Squires, a Methodist preacher and Elma Garrett. Her father died when she was young and her mother later remarried D.R. Parrett, a Houston Chiropractor. Elinor graduated from Reagan HS in 1951 and attended Sam Houston State University until she met and married Marvin Victor in 1954. She was a member of Airline UMC since 1984 and most recently a member of Woodlands Bible Church. She was a home maker and worked in the school system as a teacher's aide as well as caring for many children in her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Leeman in 1983. Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a mother to her children: Jo Lynn Victor Cookus & husband Ray, Vivian Lea Victor, and Raymond Lyndon Victor and wife Tami. She was delighted by her five grandchildren: Jessica, Stephen, Christine, Jon, and Kelly. She was the living embodiment of Galatians 5:23, "the fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." She loved the Lord and served Him all of the days of her life. Her loving spirit will be missed greatly here on earth now that she is residing in Heaven.
