Death Notice
Frederick News-Post - December 28, 1939
William T. Butcher, formerly of the Beallsville neighborhood, died Wednesday morning at a Cedar Grove home after a lengthy illness, aged 87 years. A son, who resides in this city, survives.
Funeral services Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Beallsville chapel. Interment in Beallsville Cemetery. Roy W. Barber, funeral director.
Buried on December 29, 1939.
NOTE: It's very possible that his wife, Susan, was Susan Ella (Cole). She married Thomas H. Jarboe sometime around 1903. She had a daughter, Helen, at the time of her marriage who was adopted by her sister, Maria (Cole) Pettitt. This could have been "Daisy" because she was born circa 1899. In the 1910 census, Daisy is living with Maria Pettitt!
