Felicia Mae Sanabria, age 22, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. She was born on Oct. 4, 1980 in Clewiston, Fla., the daughter of Julio and Patricia (Ramage) Sanabria. Felicia was a member of the Burlington United Methodist Church. She was a life long member of the Girl Scouts, where she had received the Silver Award. She was a camp counselor and reader for the Children's Reading Hour at Scout camp in the summer. Felicia was a 1999 graduate of Troy High School, where she was an outstanding athlete. She was co-captain of the volleyball team and a member of the softball team . She was an avid skier and loved all sports and outdoor recreation. Felicia was a senior at Mansfield University majoring in elementary education with a focus on special education. She loved children and was planning on teaching handicapped children after graduation. Felicia was the office manager for the college radio station and had her own show; "Gin and Tonic" which aired Sunday nights at 8 p.m. She was the "Tonic". Felicia was currently working at Mansfield Wal-Mart while attending school. Felicia is survived by her mother, Patricia Sanabria of Burlington, Pa., her father, Julio Sanabria of Fort Myers, Fla; brothers, Jay and Kelly Sanabria of Burlington, Scott Sanabria of Harrisburg; maternal grandparents, Richard and Jennie Ramage of Ogdensburg, N.J.; paternal grandmother, Carman Ayhala of Fort Meyers, Fla.; special nephews, Hunter and Eban Sanabria of Burlington; fiance, Chad Sandstrom of Mansfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call at the Vickery Funeral Home Inc. 110 Main Street, Troy, Pa. on Friday, Dec. 27, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday Dec. 28, from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William Lusk, officiating. Interment will be in Moutain Lake Cemetery. Donation's may be made in Felicia's memory to Bradford County Library RR3, Box 320 Troy, Pa. 16947.
