Lynsey Elizabeth Fitzgerald age 20, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009. She was a beautiful girl who was strong in spirit and in her faith in God.She had a smile that lit up a room and no matter your mood you just had to smile back. Lynsey loved animals especially her dog Beebe,she loved the color purple, was constantly making friends, and helping others. The gaping holes left in the hearts of those she left behind will never heal but we know that she is in Heaven where there is no pain or suffering and she is watching over us.
She is survived by her Mother Beth McGuire, her father David Fitzgerald of Colorado, and two sisters Julia Brumfield and Melissa 'Jo' Fitzgerald.
Preceding her in death is her Uncle Donald Fitzgerald and her Papa Robert Baker.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, April 5, 2009 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Lynsey’s family. The family then plans to pass those contributions on equally to the many different organizations that Lynsey was interested in.
